    Taking a splash at a waterfall sounds like a good idea! You can go to Kabigan Falls, where it is a 30-45 minute trek from Pagudpud’s main highway. The Kabigan Falls is maintained by a local group that provides tour guides, and you’ll have to pay a preservation fee. After the end of the long trek, indulge in the fresh, clean water of the waterfalls!

    The Burgos Lighthouse was one of the highlights during the Galleon Trade in the Spanish era.     Patapat Viaduct is known as the fourth longest bridge in the country. You can rent a motorbike and enjoy the beautiful and crisp view of the mountains, rocks, and the sea as you get along this bridge. The highway is not crowded, so it is safe for new riders.

How to get to Pagudpud?

Travel to Pagudpud

The good news is that you can get your way to Pagudpud easily! If you want to take a time off from the city stress, here are some transportation options to get to Pagudpud.

Airplane

From Manila

Traveling by plane to Pagudpud is the most convenient and fastest way. The nearest airport in Pagudpud is Laoag airport, which is 78 kilometers away. Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines (PAL) offer direct flights from Manila to Pagudpud, and the flight takes around 45 minutes to get to Pagudpud. Fares cost Php 3,000 to Php 4,5000, but it will be cheaper if you book in advance.

Bus

Once you arrive at the Laoag Airport, take a tricycle to the bus terminal. Ride a bus or shuttle going to Claveria Province, and tell the driver to drop you off at Pagudpud. Travel time takes around more than an hour, and the fare costs Php 150 for a one-way trip.

Bus

From Manila

If you prefer to go on a road trip and longer route, you can take the car or the bus. The travel time from Manila to Pagudpud by this mode of transportation takes around 10 to 12 hours. If you prefer taking a bus, G.V. Florida, Victory Liner, or Partas Lines offer direct routes from Manila to Pagudpud. Their terminals are located in Pasay, Taft, and Cubao, and the bus fare costs between Php 700 to Php 900.
