If you have decided to travel to Boracay, you are making way for one of the best experiences of your life! Since there is no direct flight that lands you on the tiny island, the best route to travel to Boracay is to first catch a flight to Caticlan. This is the closest airport to the island. The travel to Boracay then continues by road to the Caticlan Jetty Port where boats await your arrival. You can book taxi to your way to the port, which then takes you to your final destination on a boat which takes between 10 and 20 minutes.
You can book most with local airlines in the Philippines. You can book for Kalibo or Caticlan. Caticlan is more convenient which is just a minute away from the Jetty port. Kalibo airport is a good alternative if you want a more cheaper airfares and if you are flying international flight.
This option is only for travelling from Kalibo Airport. You can travel also with van which usually take 2 hours of travel time to the Jetty port. If you are travelling from Caticlan airport you can take a tricycle which is a few blocks away from the Jetty port.
Upon arrival at the jetty port, you may proceed to the booths near the entrance to the building and settle the Terminal Fee (P100), Environmental Fee (P75), and Ferry Fare (P25). You can select for a small boat which is cheaper or a ferry which cost more.
In the Island, you will dock either Cagban or Tambisaan Port. You need to ride a tricycle to get to your hotel.
